I have a 2006 cobalt ss and the clearcoat is peeling pretty bad. Started in August and is progressing very fast all over mainly the hood and above passenger door. i have a saleen series iv kit on my gt running a 2.7 pulley. wanting to convert to e85. i have 60lb injectors and a focus fuel pump. is there anything else i would need to change in order to do this switch? has anyone done this yet?

that front bumper is a common problem with that style. my dad ownes one and its doing the same thing. other then that these suburbans are great vehicles. we have taken ours to outer banks every year for the last 8 years and no issues at all.

getting a tune in the next two weeks and had some questions. basically this car is my daily and there are a handful of e85 stations in Columbus. one thankfully next to my house. ill be adding a 2.7 pulley and 80lb injectors should i go e85 or stay 93?

 

1 has anyone on here done this on a m62 powered cobalt, and what were your gains?

 

2 i have 80lb injectors ill be putting on for this set up, if i decided to stay with 93 gas should i stick with my current 60lb or should i put the 80lb on anyway for potential future mods?

i believe the seal to be the cause of my leak of coolant and i have everything pulled apart so im considering just changing pumps. (with the thought that if one component of the pump has gone bad soon others will follow.)

 

this pump from what i am understanding is a 20gpm pump. im thinking of switching to this one from bosch that is on the cobras as well as the gt500. (other saleen owners have also used this pump)

this pump however is a 8gpm pump. is it worth rebuilding the oberdorfer? is it possible to have too much coolant flow where it isnt giving it much of a chance to cool and a slower pump would be better? only asking cause saleen doesnt use the oberdorpher anymore when i called to get some info. and like i said other SC cars use this pump including my cobalt.

 

thoughts?

most of those places are a minimum of $110 for repair. if its just a run of the mill push mower you can pick a new one up for around 150 or so. factoring time and travel might just think about buying a new one unless you have some sentimental value into it just a thought.

bought at meijer for $70 had it for a month maybe and switched from time warner cable to WOW. have the whole home dvr set up so i no longer need this.

my ps3 fat just yellow lighted on me reflowed the board worked for about a hour and it did it again. but got it to turn on again without reflowing and recovered hard drive to transfer everything to my new ps3. bought a 12g and took the hdd from my fat and am using it. so im selling this as-is with no hdd. bought this from a member on here when they first came out. only other issue i had with it was the bluray drive died and i had a local shop repair it, game smith, who worked out of video game and music exchanges shop on schrock rd.the new disc drive has been great since. it was the 20gb model.

 

rrod 360 hdmi $40 obo

 

white model, no hdd, reflowed and did the x clamp fix on this, it works for a while then locks up but doesnt red ring anymore. it only locks up when playing a game, ive used this as a media center since. it hasnt locked up when watching netflix or dvds, so im not sure what the issue is with locking up during 360 games. gpu probably still gets hot. im sure someone could do a better job fixing this and it would work fine.

sega genesis the square one genesis 2 i believe, 32x and all the cables to hook it up. works just fine, will demonstrate upon arrival for sale.
