But that's just because you're way cooler than everyone else.. In all reality, there's not a whole lot of vehicles on the street capable of running mid to high 10's in a 1/4 mile, which a bone stock (high end) 600 can do. Certainly not with me riding it, but the bike is capable..

I'm not doubting your GREAT deal, but I guarantee for the money you spent, you could have bought a metric bike of much better quality. I don't completely hate HD's, in fact a lot of my close friends ride them exclusively and constantly give me shit for whatever Jap bike I'm riding at the time. The funny thing is, every single one of these friends at one point owned a metric bike but as soon as they went HD, their attitude completely changed. It's more amusing than anything. So while I don't necessarily care for the HD's, I don't hate them either. It's more the attitude of the typical HD owner that we all hate on.

I always seem to have that jackass to blame whenever I crash as well. Glad you're ok though. Certainly could have been worse.

As a dealer, they don't have a choice. It has to initially be titled in the state it's purchased from, then you have to go through all the mickey mouse BS to get it flipped into an Ohio title. PITA...

Yep, exactly. I'm getting ready to buy a bike for my girl in MI, where they will charge me 6% (pretty sure anyway). When I register here in Franklin Co. I will have to make up the .75% difference.

I am very fortunate to have a girl that I will never have those issues with.

definitely do a CRF. The DRZ is a cool bike but it's heavy and fairly slow. In stock trim, the DRZ400 only has 4 more HP than my the WR250R/X, but weighs QUITE a bit more. My WR will wax a DRZ at this point..

I would suggest looking for a Kawasaki KLX110 (or Suzuki DRZ110, same bike) They have been out for awhile now so you can find them relatively cheap and sounds like it would fit them just about right.
