  1. Anybody have any experience with these?

I had my mind set on an Aerostich Roadcrafter suit until I was told today people complain about how hot they are. I need something really easy to put on over dress clothes so I can start commuting to work again (only Fridays right now because I can wear jeans).

Have the Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece, it's great as for being hot don't think so as long as I am moving it's fine, remember this is a four season suit that means compromises. Will not say I do not sweat when wearing this but I do not think there is a product out there that will not make you sweat unless you like shorts flip flops and a muscle shirt when riding. If I was you, would research the heck out of it, sport touring web sites and forums, BMW forums, think they have been making this suit for twenty eight years there has got to be numerous reviews of it out there and I mean reviews by individuals and companies. Eight hundred dollars, will find out the information myself, suggest you do the same so your not disappointed!! The information is out there. Good Luck!!

  2. You sure it was a recorded 419 M.P.H, at a certain M.P.H air is like a brick wall that requires more than raw horsepower to get around. Could be wrong but off the top of my head sounds like a bunch of crap and you know there are always ways to fudge the numbers in anything.

  3. Hi all, have not rode consistently all summer and going solo this week, hopefully next week, will check post and PM you about it. Hey Oldschoolsdime92 sell your bike, you can't use profanity on these boards, post like that will be deleted!

Have a good one & Take Care

  4. That t-shirt your wearing will last all of about half a second and then your skin will create enough friction to slow you down eventually and then comes the risk of infection and happy happy joy joy and a big hurrah skin grafts!

  5. Hi all, mostly have off every Tuesday and Wednesday, anyone up for a ride next week? Never rode with group and not much of a canyon carver yet but I can promise you I will ride my own ride. If it's a last minute thing here is my number (513)861-1605

  6. Any newer riders to 10/22 going tomorrow? Thinking about bringing Nikki but don't want to hold up the pack. (awaits the jokes). Anyways if any newer riders are going I can hang back with them with Nikki. If not I'll prob show up solo.

Hey am interested but have to let you know, have never rode with group and am a total newb to canyon carving. Where is this Shell gas station? Hope this can work out if it doesn't another time, want to be better rider. Also, never rode that route, here is my number (513)861-1605. If not, hope there will be another time.

  7. Luke, I've got plenty of free time now, an extra 40 hours of free time all to myself. Lost my job, nail in the rear tire, same day, no big deal. Thanks for the help with the tire man. Let me know if you wanna ride when you get back.

Sorry to hear about that Nate! Hope you find something soon.

  8. I get that more often than most......

Some days I get on and take off and feel as if I am one with the bike.....

And other days.....I feel like I just cant get anything right......Shifts, stopping, turning...nothing seems to click and it makes any or all of the ride however long or short......Very un-nerving and quite un-enjoyable.

Exactly what I had yesterday, just nothing seemed to flow right! Figures it would happen on a seventy degree day! Anyway, there is always tomorrow people!

    Keep the Shiny Part Up!

  9. I am not a go fast rider:wheelchair: but have had days on the the bike where I go Ya know this just isn't any fun today. But then there are days like today when I left the house in rain and rode for an hour and a half with rain coming down off and on but every thing clicked..I made it home in one piece..saw one other bike..a Sportster.

Watch out for the stop bars at lights..they seem to be slicker the past couple of years when wet.

Yeah, went out Monday in dreary weather and everything just clicked, it was so much fun but yesterday body position, shifts, lines in curves you name it could not get comfortable but there is always tomorrow.

  10. if i might add something; some people are fast and some people are slow. some people are slow for different reasons. but please, in the name of all that is good, do not ride beyond your limits! anyone that comes out with us, do not feel like you have to keep up. ride your own ride. the last time we had a bunch of new guys come out with us, one guy totalled his brand new bike. i personally could give 2 shits about who is fast and who is slow. its not a race! whoever makes it home safely is a good rider

    Here here to that!
