Sounds like Chad is talking about brake lines and Clay and I are both looking for fuel line help!

 

Ops, not sure how I got that far off base. I did do SS fuel lines to my truck as well but it’s the Duramax so I won’t be much help with suggestions on that.

Chad, can you share a link for the $90 fuel lines?

Looking up 4.3L V6 Silverado fuel systems I’m finding cheap brake line kits in Stainless Steel, but the fuel line kit is $200+

I think I cross referenced on Dorman's site. Looks like they went down in price as well >$70 for pre-bent SS lines.

I've done three sets on three 00-05 Silverado's. I've always ordered the ones from Summit that are like $90 for all stainless for everything. It's more of a pain but I think it's worth doing once.

I’ll say this is a nice watch. I’ve had the same watch for 7 or 8 years and I wear it daily without any issue.

I believe I have some FAST 36 or 38? I’ll have to look around to see were they are if you’re interested.

You don't need a FHA certified contractor for a 203k...just a licensed/insured contractor will do. Hope this helps!

We just did this exact same thing at the end of 2016 and he is right about just needing someone licensed and insured. We did find a lot of contractors will not do them because of the extra steps and that some of them specialize in it. I can look up our contractor if you'd like. What type of work are you needing done?

I've used Randy's many times over the years for personal stuff as well as work stuff and have never had an issue. As stated, the prices and turn around are always good as well.

I parked at COSI for years and now park at Vets Memorial and never knew about this scale. I will soon know the weight of all my cars...

Do you know what part you're staying in? I went last year and stayed in Duck. We went to the Wright Brothers museum, visited three lighthouses, drove the entire length of the outerbanks but the most fun I had was at the far north end the road kicks you out to the beach. You can drive I think 14 miles on the beach to the Virginia line if you have a 4x4. You can drive over the sand dunes in certain areas and there are back roads for houses all the way up to Virginia. They do wild horse tours through there with Hummers and F250's that get bumper deep in the large puddles on the back roads. I went through a number of them which was fun.

He's had this for sale for a while. I remember since it in front of their house a few years ago and the price was even high than this.
