had a thought, how about combining a ride and a cookout? I would like some help planning out a good route and deciding which park to have the cook out at, also could use some help with other logistics like getting the grill and food to the park when the time comes. anyone interested hit me up PM or just call me...

if you douches plan something in advance that some of us "die hard" c-bus peeps could attend I know that I would be down for some N.E. action... most of the good state rides I have done have only taken me to the south east... I did however come thru akron to get to buffalo, NY. didn't see anything besides highway though... I say put together some sort of meet/ area Ride... I am thinking that direction for ours down here and combining some sort of hour or so ride then have everyone meet at the park for food... kinda like a here's some cool roads, build up an appetite, and chow then head for home. Make a weekend out of it..

steak dinners will be back in april... but if you want I can purchase and ship you some of the steaks they come from a local farm market...

Well It's Lent for us crazy Catholics, and it's fish fry FRIDAY time again... Every week during the Lenten season we are holding our East side famous fish fry. Food starts rolling @ 6 pm and goes till the fish runs out or the people do. As always the event will be held @ the hall (4217 E. Main st, whitehall, Oh. 43213) The dinners will be 8 bucks, (all you can eat) deep fried (special breading) ocean perch, with cole slaw, fries, and rolls, mac n cheese, and probably some homemade desserts. This Friday is the kick-off meal... I hope to see many of my friends that have supported us in the past. Thanks in advance and see you all there!!

as most that have attended our events can attest, that doesn't become an issue as most who ride in don't drink and those that do get their bikes parked in a secure place for them until they are sober or the next day...

at least you don't have a wife bitching at you to shovel the damn driveway and then go to your mother in law's and do the same...

just trying to mix things up fellas, to keep the interest going... and I figured if we have people riding in maybe having it in a location near some good routes would be cool... and yes scott you are right alcohol would be absent in a meet @ a park of some sort...so keep the ideas coming people...

so everyone is ok with me doing my thing... I'm leaning towards a public park, and hauling the grill out and supplying the burgers and dogs, thinking maybe alum creek state park, or maybe one of the metro parks down towards lithopolis, and having peeps bring salads and type stuff, maybe have some coolers of beverage.. since there has been some people that have thought the KofC was a little small... I figure if we do the park thing I'll need help from a few people to get it set up and put together, then everyone else can ride in... any thoughts? suggestions? volunteers?

Last year I planned/executed a cook-out meet near mid-April, I thought it was well attended and all had a good time. I was wondering if I should make it an annual thing. I was also thinking about making it a steak cook out instead of a burger and dog show, since it seems a few of you are growing fond of our steak fry dinners for the Knights. I would like input and ideas in a few areas. Such as, when would the most of you like to see it happen? Do you like the idea of having steak and having it a donation based event where the meal would cost 8 or 10 bucks with the proceeds going to a designated charity like roll on c-bus, or some other charity? Would you rather it be a burger and dog thing and just hang out? Would you like to see it happen somewhere besides the Knights hall? (if so suggestions would be nice) Basically I am looking to improve and expand our social meets/ fundraisers.... so let me have some ideas...

I used to use creatine and some of the other protein powder shakes, I primarily used the GNC brands... watch for ingredients you don't need. Also, make sure they stay hydrated. If you need any advice on programs or lifting schedules let me know.. I was a competitive power lifter before I injured my shoulder... I can get the boys max bench up in a matter of weeks, as well as their leg press. also I can write up a food schedule to go with the workout schedule...I can have them up to weight before summer practice comes..

get there early...starts @ 6pm... I'll set aside 10 steaks for peeps... but don't make me look like an ass for doing it by not showing up...

true, but I can tell you what it "should" cost to repair certain things, and give you ideas for changing things to better suit your needs as a homeowner... I would still have a certified Inspector to look over the house just to cover your ass.. but as far as things he might miss you may want someone like me along to point things out as well before you sign the line...
