  1. The DID KM500R chain tool is THE best chain tool on the market today. Made in Japan, this KM500R chain tool is forged steel and is the same tool used by dealers, shops, and race teams including your very own Riders Discount race team. We can't advertise your forum price publicly, but you're definitely going to want to see what we're offering this up for. Just send us a PM to get your price. Not yet listed on our website, the DID chain tool can be ordered by calling MIKE at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 or by sending us a private message through this forum. Is email more convenient? Write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! This DID chain tool can be used for the entire chain swapping process. Able to push old pins out, press new side plates on, and rivet to a perfect flare, the KM500R does it all! The DID KM500R is a heavy duty, forged steel tool made in Japan. This does not break or snap easily like some other, cheaper chain tools. This is built specifically for shops that frequently do chain swaps, but at this price you won't want to pass up this opportunity to add it to your own personal tool box. If on the off chance you break the pin, we can order up a new one for you no problem. This comes in 6 total pieces. It's design is simple and quite genius actually. The pin and plate can be used in a variety of combinations to accomplish all three steps of removing and installing your new chain. Use the pin to push out the old rivets. Flip the pin around and use it with the chain press plate to press the new side plate on. Finally, remove the plate to flare the rivet. If you have any questions on flaring your rivet, please consult your service manual. Interested? Send us a PM or give our expert sales staff a call today!
