It is not very common for helmets with an inner shield to have any rating higher than DOT, however Scorpion has done it achieving an ECE approved rating. Rotate the inner shield up or down with a simple to use and easy to find with gloves on lever behind the shield. The EXO-500 includes a very comfortable Kwickwick2 moisture wicking, removable, washable, hypoallerginic liner that allows for a custom fit with the patented Airfit technology. The Airfit allows you to inflate and deflate the cheek pads to give you a custom fit. Fit is smaller than usual, we recommend ordering up one size.
