First impressions of the Knox Zero 2 glove when putting it on is how soft and supple it is inside. It feels like crawling into bed after a long day at the office. On the exterior you'll find a high-end, quality glove constructed from goat skin featuring OutDry waterproof and windproof membrane that is still breathable. More about OutDry - how can something be waterproof and windproof but still breathable? Basically the membrane used allows for body heat to escape through the glove yet doesn't allow any water to break through. Available to purchase on Riders Discount's website with retail at $189.95. If you have any questions or would like to call to place an order, give MIKE call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! Knuckle and finger sliders are incorporated into the glove and underneath a layer of digital goat leather. The knuckle sliders are floating and move with your hand for increased comfort. Goat leather and kangaroo palm with an Amara grip pad for improved control. Also note the scaphoid sliders similar to those seen on Knox's higher end gloves like the Handroid glove. The silicon print on the end of the fingers are for added grip on your levers. 3M reflective piping is used throughout the glove including around the end of the wrist cuff. Also notice the waterproof zipper and inside you'll see the Bemberg micro-fleece liner that feels absolutely amazing. This glove will keep you extremely warm on the coldest rides. What do you think of the Knox Zero 2 glove? Would you wear this glove?

Your hands are arguably one of the most important parts of your body, especially when it comes to motorcycle riding. If you're like us and really value your hands, you're going to want the best protection money can buy. The Knox Handroid V14 gloves are just that. With an innovative exoskeleton armor system and CE certification, you get what you pay for and more with these award winning gloves available from Riders Discount. Retails at $269.95, these are available in black, black/white (pictured here), red, and white/black. Check these out on our website or if you would like to place an order, give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! The Handroid V14 gloves are CE certified to prEN 13594-2012. This particular certification is one of the most difficult tests to pass and the Knox Handroid did so with flying colors. Some of the tests involved impact resistance, abrasion resistance, cut resistance, tear strength, and quality of leather just to name a few. On the palm side of the glove you'll find kangaroo leather on the palm with an Amara grip pad with silicon print for even greater control of your motorcycle. Also notice the patented dual compound Scaphoid Protection System protecting vital bones in your wrist. The most noticeable feature of this glove is the exoskeleton system. These spines are attached to a fixed point on the middle knuckles and move in and out of the top armor via hidden springs. These take a load off of your hand by helping to maintain the curve around your grip and serve as protection for your knuckles in the event you go down. Check out the wrist closure system. Skiers and snowboarders are probably already familiar with this system but Knox have incorporated this popular BOA lacing system onto the Handroid. The BOA lacing system allows precise adjustment around the whole cuff giving you a secure feeling around the entire circumference of your wrist rather than a few spots like you might get with a velcro closure. Simply turn until it's tight enough for you and pull up on the dial to release the tension. Sizing is spot on with the motorcycle glove. What do you think of the new Knox Handroid V14 glove? Let us know your thoughts in the thread below!

How many products, motorcycle related or otherwise, can you name that have stayed on the market and remained competitive for more than five years? How about eight? That’s what the original Held Phantom managed to do. They’ve been winning awards and comparison tests since 2005, but that run has come to an end with the release of their successor - the Held Phantom II. The Held Phantom II retains the full kangaroo leather construction of the original, which makes it surprisingly flexible and lightweight considering how beefy they look at first glance. The inherent lightness of the kangaroo means that more protective elements can be added without making the Phantom II feel restrictive. Other features that go relatively unchanged from the original are the Kevlar lining on top of the hand, special stepped seams on the fingers for an unobtrusive feel, and stingray leather on the palm. Stingray leather is incredibly abrasion resistant and acts as a slider on the heel of the palm. Held had an excellent starting point with the original Phantom, but that doesn’t mean they only gave a fresh look to the old features. Many brand new elements were added to the Phantom II. Starting at the fingers, the Phantom II’s use a material called Superfabric on the knuckles of the pinky, ring and middle fingers. This is backed by Kevlar and shock absorbing foam for even more protection. Each of the first two fingers also have been given flex panels for easy manipulation of your controls while on the bike. Above the fingers on the back of the hand is a brand new, multi-layer knuckle protector. It uses a titanium slider that is seated in a molded TPU base, with thick, energy absorbing foam underneath it all. It not only protects, but it does so very comfortably. The wrist is guarded by a similar, layered armor scheme. The difference here is that instead of titanium, it is Superfabric that provides the first line of defense. The Held Phantom II is very well rounded gauntlet that provides some of the best protection available, excellent comfort, and a very supple feel. It is definitely a worthy successor to the long-running Phantom, and you can get your own pair from Riders Discount by getting in touch with MIKE through this forum, or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 804. You can also feel free to send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The new Held Phantom II gloves sell for $300 and come in White/Black , Black, Hi-Vis Yellow/Black (not pictured), and Red/White/Black.
