  1. The Alpinestars GP Pro Airflow Jacket is a leather race jacket that gives you the flexibility to attach any Alpinestars race pants via a 360 degree zipper. Constructed of 1.3mm full-grain cow leather, the GP Pro Airflow is extremely abrasion resistant. Perforation panels placed throughout the entire jacket allow for excellent ventilation. The GP Pro Airflow incorporates accordion stretch panels and poly-textile stretch panels for extra flexibility and comfort, even in the tuck-riding position. Velcro side adjusters allow you to customize the fit of this jacket. This jacket comes equipped with Alpinestars’ exclusive Dynamic Friction Shield (DFS) elbow and shoulder sliders, as well as removable, CE-approved internal elbow and shoulder protectors.   2. The Ohlins TTX GP shock is straight off of WSBK machines. Ok not really, but it's about as close as you can get to WSBK technology for your bike. Using all new valve stacks, the compression and rebound adjustments have improved even more over the MkII. With the TTX GP, you'll get a wider range of adjustment with more consistent feedback on a lighter shock body. We have a handful of these available for the 09-11 S1000RR. $799 shipped in the lower 48 The shock will be sprung for your weight before leaving our facility. The main difference between the MkII and the TTX GP are the rebound and compression valves which are straight out of the WSBK machines. Initially what you'll notice when you receive your Ohlins TTX GP shock is that you can adjust the TTX GP rebound and compression with your fingers by turning the knobs. The MkII required an allen key to make any adjustment. Diving deeper into the valving, the TTX MkII valving was quite a bit thinner and had no support at the end of the needle resulting in a needle that flexed due to internal pressure giving you non-linear changes in adjustment. The TTX GP valving is much beefier with a fully supported needle giving you more consistent changes in the adjustments. This is the same shock the Riders Discount Triumph team used to finish off their season resulting in placing as the top Triumph team. Riders Discount Triumph crew chief and MotoGP engineer, Richard Stanboli, noted that this Ohlins TTX GP shock is much improved over the MkII with an adjustment range that is more linear than previous versions. What this means is that each click on the TTX GP is going to have the the same change in feedback throughout the adjustment range whereas before, one click may have a smaller or greater change than the next. Apart from the new styling, the new GP Pro gloves look quite similar to the outgoing version. This is because defining features like the TPU knuckle protectors and cuff have already proven to be extremely effective at the top levels of racing and did not need to be changed. Don’t let the similar appearance fool you, because Alpinestars did make some key improvements. The most important addition is probably the L-shaped slider that sits on outside of each palm. This TPU piece helps keep the hand from catching in the event of a palms out landing. It is extremely abrasion resistant and slick so that impact energy is deflected into a slide, rather than being transmitted up the hand and into the wrist. Alpinestars kept their patented finger-bridge connecting the pinky to the ring finger, but the pinky itself received a big upgrade. Replacing the old double-layered leather is a significantly stronger system that Alpinestars calls K-Tech. This surrounds the pinky in two layers of Kevlar, two layers of leather, and energy absorbing foam for very high levels of impact protection and abrasion resistance. A Kevlar lining also covers the top of the hand, all fingers and outside of the thumb.
