Most noticeable on the new AGV K3 SV aside from the drop down internal sun shield is the aggressive shell shape. You'll notice this looks much like it's more expensive brothers in the Pista and Corsa. The interior has been updated as well with an all new Lycra moisture wicking liner. The ventilation has been updated as well with the most noticeable change being the addition of a central ram air intake. How do you like AGV's update on the K3? The AGV K-3 SV Tartaruga Helmet features a large turtle graphic on the top, as well as Valentino Rossi's signature below the chin vent. Rossi's number 46 is centered on the back. As with all of Rossi's helmets, his dogs Cesare and Camilla are represented on the back. The shell of the K-3 SV is made out of High Resistant ThermoPlastic Resin (HIR-TH). This helmet includes a GT 2 visor that is scratch resistant, anti-fog, and provides 100% protection against UV rays. An anti-fog, scratch-resistant, internal sun visor is also included. The ventilation system built into this helmet includes three forehead vents, a chin vent, and two rear extractors. Working along with the external vents is the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS). The IVS consists of hollowed out air ducts that allow air to circulate through the helmet. Inside of the helmet you'll find liners made from "Dry-Comfort" materials, designed to prevent the formation of bacteria and keep moisture away from your skin.
