Ogio Rig 9800 Benjamins Limited Edition Gearbag

The Rig 9800 from Ogio is the preferred gearbag of Riders Discount, and it is back with a brand new, limited edition graphic called Benjamins. The reasoning behind the name will become readily apparent when you check out the photos below.

The Rig 9800 comes with roughly 9800 cubic inches of capacity, so there’s tons of room for all your riding gear inside. All of this is supported by Ogio’s Structural  Load Equalizing Deck (SLED) to provide secure storage of all your critical riding gear. Opening the full-circumference coffin-style lid, you’re greeted by a padded helmet storage compartment on one end and a large area to put your gear like jersey/leathers, gloves and armor away. In the top lid, Ogio recommends placing your boots, but for those of you who like to keep them out to dry, this area is good for a change of clothes, towels and other smaller gear. There are also three more smaller pockets (two inside, one outside) for further organizational possibilities. Large zippers keep it all inside and users can employ a pair of built-in external compression straps to keep everything safely held in place while the bag is on the move. A large set of wheels perfectly compliment the telescoping handle and substantial, durable grab handles are logically placed for easy handling even when the bag is overloaded. Plus, for over-eager (disgruntled?) baggage handlers, your gear is further protected by the integrated iFOM-padded panels on all sides.

Best of all, Ogio luggage is built like a tank, and they’re backed by a lifetime warranty!

Ogio’s SLED system not only makes it a very durable and safe place to carry your gear, it also distributes the weight evenly across the bottom of the back so that it doesn’t buckle anywhere when being pulled.

High quality wheels make rolling the Rig 9800 a breeze, even when carrying a full load over bumpy asphalt or gravel.

Like the Benjamins style, but don’t need all the cavernous storage space that the Rig 9800 provides? The Rebel 15 backpack is also available with this limited edition graphic.

With 2000 cubic inches of storage space and a padded 15 inch laptop sleeve, the Ogio Rebel 15 backpack has enough room to carry your essentials without being too bulky. If you are carrying a heavy load, the adjustable shoulder straps are well padded and feature a chest strap to help keep the weight distributed comfortably. It is also built to last, with a heavy duty construction and OGIO’s lifetime warranty.

The third bag available in the limited edition Benjamins graphic is the Ogio Roller 7800.

If you’re looking for a bag that can carry a huge amount of gear, but doesn’t carry a top-tier price tag, the Ogio Roller 7800 just might be what you need. With a capacity of 10000 cubic inches, the Roller 7800 is nothing short of massive. The storage is divided into two flexible compartments that allow you to keep your helmet separate, or keep a dirty pair of boots from rubbing off on your other gear after a ride. It sits atop a rigid chassis that, while not nearly as robust as the SLED system of the top-of-the-line Rig 9800, does a good job of distributing the weight with the help of a telescoping pull handle.

We’ve had a lot of questions about the difference between the more expensive Rig 9800 in the first post and the Roller 7800 shown here, so here’s a quick summary.

The Rig 9800 has less storage space, at 7500 cubic inches, but more features - the ultra-sturdy SLED System, bigger wheels, more organizational compartments/dividers, and more padding to keep things like helmets safe in transit. Essentially it has more of everything but storage, and this includes the higher price.

The Roller 7800 is more focused on providing the most storage space at the lowest possible price. This lower price means that it has fewer bells and whistles than the 9800, but this is Ogio we’re talking about after all, so it doesn’t mean that they cheaped out on the build quality. The durability of all their bags is also backed by their lifetime warranty.

To place an order, or to get more information on these, or any other Ogio products, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. If email is more convenient, feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!
