RidersDiscount
With protection from both the elements and the pavement, the Alpinestars Archer X-Trafit Gore-Tex gloves kill two birds with one stone. While they don’t feel like a waterproof gauntlet, the Archer gloves provide excellent all-weather performance thanks to thee innovative X-Trafit technology used by Alpinestars. This system bonds the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane to the top layer in order to reduce the amount of material needed, and it is this lack of bulk that gives them such a good feel. The Gore-Tex also makes them extremely breathable and allows them to be worn in a wide range of temperatures without excessive moisture buildup. The Alpinestars Archer gloves also provide top-notch protection in the safety arena. The outer layer is made of highly abrasion resistant, full-grain leather that is backed by energy absorbing foam in key impact areas like the palm and knuckles. These areas also feature hard armor in the form of dual-compound TPU knuckle protectors and palm sliders. Another race derived aspect of the gloves is the Alpinestars’ patented finger bridge between the pinky and ring finger. This can prevent extreme contortion of the pinky in the event of a crash, but isn’t so rigid that it doesn’t allow movement. The gauntlet end features a dual velcro closure that keeps things securely fastened and makes it easy to fit it under the sleeve of a jacket. If you are interested in the Alpinestars Archer X-Trafit Gore-Tex Gloves, or any other Alpinestars products, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 or contact him through this forum.
