This Speed & Strength SS2500 Lunatic Fringe hybrid helmet from Riders Discount is an excellent choice for all kinds of riding.  Stable enough at high speeds to be used on the street, and versatile enough to be used off-roading or while riding your supermoto.  A tri-composite fiberglass shell keeps this helmet extremely light with increased strength and protection.  The size large we brought in weighed 3.5lbs.  The "Cool Core" moisture wicking liner is both removable and washable to keep your helmet smelling fresh all year long.  The SS2500 Lunatic Fringe comes with an optically correct anti-fog clear shield, but dark smoke and silver/chrome are available as well.  

 

 

 

Large openings in the visor not only reduce drag when riding at speed, they funnel air directly into the “Airstrike™” direct course ventilation system.

 

 

 

The ridge on the back of the helmet helps keep your goggle strap in place. 

 

 

Not a fan of the Lunatic Fringe graphic but like the style of the helmet?  The SS2500 is available in gloss black, matte black, or silver.  Or the alternate SS2500 Hell n' Back available in matte black, hi-viz yellow, and hi-viz orange if you prefer a simpler graphic.
