RidersDiscount
The same great Dual Temp tire warmers from Woodcraft we've always loved, now made in the USA. Along with being manufactured in the US, Woodcraft has listened to you and updated their warmers. New in the gen II is a redesigned dual temp switch, thermostats that hold a tighter temp range guaranteeing a perfect heat cycle, and double stitched seam with more durable nylon construction. Designed to work on as little as 1,000W per pair and provide an even heat distribution thanks to tightly aligned coils that provide consistent thermal coverage. This coverage is aided by side curtains sewn into the warmer elements which help increase each warmer’s efficiency and aids in warming up the rims. In this way, tires can soak heat from the rims as you line up on the grid, providing a little more grip when the green flag drops. The benefits of using tire warmers are many, from reducing the risk of crashes on the first few laps out on the track to increased tire life – both of which result in less money coming out of your pocket. If you’re serious about your time at the track, consider investing in Woodcraft Dual Temp Tire Warmers from Riders Discount. MSRP - $399.99 For more information, call MIKE at 866.931.6644 ext 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away. Fleece side curtains eliminate the #1 cause of heat loss by protecting the tires from side winds. Also note the easy pull Velcro strap. Heat intensity is selectable between 130°-140° F (warm) to 170°-180° F (hot) settings. An indicator light is located where the power cord makes its way into the warmer element. It will shine red as the tires are coming up to temperature and green when they’re ready. Heating coils are tightly spaced to provide even temperatures throughout the tire carcass. This prevents hot spots from forming and increases tire life. To prevent burn through as the result of forgetting to turn off the warmers when you head out onto the track, Woodcraft tire warms have a safety plug built-in to the front and rear warmers. By virtue of completing the circuit, this must plugged in for the warmers to provide heat. In this way, damage to the tire warmers is easily avoided since they must be disconnected before removing them from your tires.
