The Corsa Wish pays tribute to Valentino Rossi's friend and fellow racer Marco Simoncelli. Worn at the Misano race last year the Wish helmet features Pink Floyd's legendary "Wish You Were Here" album cover. On top you'll find two robotic hands holding onto the other over a background representing earth, water, air, and fire. Valentino Rossi's dedication is very closely linked to the musical meaning of the images on the helmet. Wish you were here is an album about the absence of man, sad and lost in what Gilmour and waters define as the "society of machines”. There is no doubt that the absence of Marco Simoncelli has been felt even more strongly at his "home track" which was in fact named after him a few months after his tragic death On each side you'll find large fluorescent yellow "46" that has become a common fixture on Rossi's helmets. Developed and produced in Italy, the AGV Wish is a limited edition run of 3000 helmets. Pictured here is #1000 of 3000.
