Crazyskullcrusher here can vouch that it ran, he was there. It needs carb work that I have no desire to do. I am a Suzuki guy, and this is not my thing...being a v twin yammie and all. I believe the diaphragms may need replaced, but everything in the carbs looks good other than that. Carbs are torn apart at the moment. Again, I really don't want this project, but if put back together, would probably make a good flipper come springtime if we ever get there. Gixxus Christ! Posted February 23, 2015 Report Share Posted February 23, 2015 It's worth $500 all day. It would idle but stalled when you gave it gas due to carbs being all clogged Up. Gixxus Christ! Posted March 9, 2015 Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 Lol the vx700 isn't a bad bike if it's running correctly. Puts out a decent amount of torque over a decent rpm range. redkow97 Posted March 9, 2015 Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 yeah, my friend would not care. He wants it to look cool and commute in the HOV lanes in DC. Speed will not be a priority. I wouldn't trust him with a fast bike anyway. If he wants this, I'll probably trailer it and my XR out to DC, then have him learn on the 100 for a couple days before letting him loose on a full-sized UJM.
