Debuting during FP3 at Misano in 2014, the Misano "Hands" replica helmet pays a real tribute to the Misano track that Valentino grew up on. Just a few miles from his home, Misano is the track where Rossi started his racing career. This helmet turned out to be a lucky lid giving him his first win of the 2014 season in front of his home crowd. Wrapping around the front of the chinbar is the phrase, "Misano ci dà una mano," meaning "Misano gives us a hand." The phrase comes from a famous Italian advertising jingle and was the starting point for the creative concept behind the helmet. Using the AGV Corsa shell, the 2014 Misano Rossi replica helmet features the handprints of the Team Movistar Yamaha MotoGP mechanics and engineers that work on his bikes in a colorful motif with a sky blue background. You'll also find the paw prints of his dogs, Cesare and Cecilia, as well as those of his cat, Rossano. On the chin bar are two lipstick kisses from his mother Stefania (rider's left) and his girlfriend Linda (rider's right). The fingerprint on the helmet is that of his friend and designer, Aldo Drudi, who is his constant companion in these creative adventures.
