The blue accents feature a heavy use of small metallic flake that really pop in the light.  The paint quality of this HJC lid is quite good with no obvious flaws or inconsistencies. 

 

 

The shield system offers numerous detents including a detent to crack open your shield when riding at slow speeds for additional ventilation.  On the left side is the lever to operate the internal drop down sun shield.  The shield stays up when not in use and did not drop down unintentionally during a test ride.
