imagineer
With the new cafe bike aesthetics on my Bandit project, I think the tail end is just a little too high, so I snuck a couple of files into the waterjet schedule last night and had two sets of suspension links cut from .250" aluminum. These links will lower the back end 1/2" or 1". Any advise/warnings for swapping out suspension links? Gixxus Christ!
Not a hard job but it will change the suspension geometry and thus, the handling of the bike. Typically when you lower the rear it makes the steering less responsive. Most streetfighter jack the back end up so it looks like a cat in heat.
