HeavyDuty Posted June 7, 2015 Report Share Posted June 7, 2015 To Whom It May Concern Subject: POWs/MIAs Balloon Launch The American Legion Riders will be hosting on Saturday, August 08, 2015 at 1:15 p.m. Our “8th Annual POWs/MIAs Ceremony” will be held at Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman Ohio. This Ceremony is a remembrance memorial for all POWs/MIAs from the Revolutionary War though VIETNAM WAR. In conclusion of the ceremony, there is a balloon launch to symbolize the souls of the POW/MIA’s of all Armed Forces. To show our support, all present will join hands and form what we call a healing circle. You will hear “I’m Proud to be an American” recorded by Lee Greenwood, the balloons will then be released in memory of our brothers and sisters. It is truly a beautiful ceremony to experience. This event is open to all Veterans and the general public.
