Fair point, but at least a Libertarian can exercise veto powers to limit federal expansion.

I think a 3rd party president (while very unlikely without major political reform) would have a very difficult time in office.  

 

It would, however, be a very loud message from voters that we are fed up.  I think it would lead to more future changes that are needed, but it would likely be a lame duck presidency.

They have all been pretty lame for some time.

Third party candidates have won 40 elections in total. Mostly state governor and senate. But it's not clear if that's federal or state senate. Wisconsin is the leader in third party elections, with Minnesota right behind.

I vote third-party for congress too.  When there is no third-party candidate, I vote for whoever isn't the incumbent.  The approval rating for congress is like 15%, but the reelection rate is 85%. 

 

Voters are morons. 

Exactly.  I did that exact same thing in '12. 

 

Also +10000000000 to voters are morons.
