ShawnR
I am working on my nephews POS Virago 750 (money pit). A couple of years back I bought a starter off of ebay, put it in the bike and confirmed that it worked. Bike sat for another couple of years and I am trying to get it running again. Viragos have know starter issues (box-o-rocks) with gears meshing together and in troubleshooting I pulled the starter and found that 1 of the magnets on the inside of the case had come unglued and broken into pieces. So, short of buying another ebay starter for this piece of shit, does anyone know of any elector motor repair shops that might be able to just fix this one? It has a total of probably 5 starts on it over the past 3 years. New one is $72. Thanks.
