This jacket is a great alternative if you're looking for a hoody-style jacket that still has protective armor. This jacket comes equipped with CE rated Vault armor in the shoulders and elbows. It also includes a CE rated Vault back protector. The "Fast Times" jacket is made from a combination of denim and cotton/polyester materials. The hood that is attached to the jacket is not removable.
