The upper part of the Tech 10 boots have a multi-material construction made of full-grain leather, lightweight microfiber, and an impact/abrasion resistant TPU shell. A removable, dual-compound sole offers structure while still allowing excellent grip of the bike. Out of all the boots in the Tech line, the Tech 10 offers the highest level of protection. A TPU calf protector plate and shin blade system help to prevent hyper-extension and protect against impact. An innovative bio-mechanical inner ankle brace is constructed of medial and lateral C torsion bars, controlling ankle and leg rotation while still allowing movement. The closure system on the Tech 10 is designed to keep the boot secure when riding, yet is easy to operate. The dual closure system has an internal microfiber flap with Velcro, as well as lightweight aluminum buckles with memory and quick release capabilities.
