It is a great alternative if you're looking for a flannel/hoody-style shirt that still has protective armor. This shirt comes equipped with CE rated Vault armor in the shoulders and elbows. It also includes a CE rated Vault back protector. The True Romance is 100% cotton with DuPont Kevlar reinforcements at the elbows and shoulders. The hood that is attached is not removable. Zippered waist gussets allow extra hip room if needed. The front of the shirt has both a YKK zipper and snap buttons.
