DesmoDuc
I got down to Mid O yesterday for what turned out to be a superb day. Track surface temps got up to 100 so we had really good traction. No Lifeflights (thank goodness). After the 1 session, I came into the pits and noticed my oil pressure light was ON. Fack. Before getting too wigged out, I took a look at oil level. Check. Next I looked at the pressure sending unit .... hmm, oil seeping out of it. Good, at least in the sense I had not lunched my engine. But no spare on hand ... I head out into the paddock looking for fellow Duc eurotrash owners ... 1st guy I come across reaches into his tool box and pulls out 2 sending units he's welded up for just the problem I experienced. Says, here, take this welded up sensor and give me your failed unit. Riding day is saved .... Helping our fellow riders and racers .. it's how we roll. BTW, it was really good to see Rusty out on track ... had been a while! Edited June 20, 2017 by DesmoDuc
