Guest Tony_K
...more stuff scanned from the roll of film in my camera... Thought I'd post it since its not every day you see one of these: http://www.pajene.com/image/Tony/a.jpg http://www.pajene.com/image/Tony/aaa.jpg I haven't done much work on it, but I finally got it cleaned up a bit, so pics were eminent. This was very likely the first time in several years this car has actually seen sunlight.

Guest Tony_K
couple more: http://www.pajene.com/image/Tony/aa.jpg http://www.pajene.com/image/Tony/aaaa.jpg High-tech brake modification constructed from brick and wood stops car instantly! Have lots of tinkering to do with it (including installing new brake lines), but should be driving it in several weekends...

Being a 1976 automobile in America, it came here with some seriously power-robbing smog equipment. Unfortunately, in stock form, its 1.8-liter four is not very fast, but the engine can be easily modified to produce 150-270 hp for the street, depending on budget. Car weighs 2400 lbs... Several years later, it evolved into this: http://www.classicscars.com/lancia/037/car1.jpg (drool) ...the last rwd "supercar" to win the world rally championship. The "037 Stradale" (road going version) made 205-210hp (edited post here) from a 2-liter four...back in 1981. The 037 has a secure spot on my "dream car" list; guess I'll have to settle for a Scorpion and start w/the upgrades... [ 07. Hey Jon - If you can make the hike from Kent State, I'll be up in Cleveland working on it both Saturday and Sunday. Help me bleed the brakes? (heh heh). PM me if you don't have my #. There are a handful of people who built and dynoed street engines to 270hp, and I was getting my wires crossed. ...numbers--> graemlins/slap.gif <--me Comp. ratio in the Stradale's 205-210hp engine is 7.5:1 with a roots supercharger; not sure what they did with the rally engines. Later evolutions of the rally car had roughly 325 and 350hp from the 2-liter.
