Science Abuse
http://www.strandbeest.com/animaris%20rhinoceros%20transport_en.html Weird fella, but the locomotion on that thing is frickin sweet. Its so fluid that wind can power it, no more drag then a pair of big wheels.

Lustalbert
I wonder if you can make it go against the wind like a sailboat.

The cut across it and sig-zag in its direction. Think of it like a fan blade following a line rather then a circumference. The pointof mentioning the wind pushing it seems to just be that moves so smoothly that it take very little force to power it. It cant steer with wind, it can only move downwind. powered by old dutch guy It actualy looks esier to push then my car, which is about the same weight. Locomotion is controlled by a crankshaft, though, not an eccentric shaft.
