Devils Advocate Posted July 3, 2005 Report Share Posted July 3, 2005 There are zero Cards rated (as in the silver or gold emblems) as uncommon or rare, but there is a sizeable collection of cards with no symbols, that look slightly duller (I was told that this is how one tells if it is an alpha or Beta)... MrMeanGreen Posted July 4, 2005 Report Share Posted July 4, 2005 Alpha and Beta have black borders instead of the usual white. Alpha have much bigger corners. Unlimited have white borders, but the colors in the card are almost "highlighted" as compared to later editions. Revised have white borders and duller colors, and lack a copyright date at the bottom. Anything with a white border and copyright date are 4th Edition or later. All expansion series have a symbol between the picture box and the text box, and sometimes have a black or white border.
