martindc1 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Share Posted April 4, 2005 Hello all. My girlfriend has a 95 Carolla and is saying that she is having problems starting it. When she turns the key the starter doesn't turn over. Usually if she turns it back and then hits it again it will turn over. Unfortunately I have not been able to get it to do it when I try to start it, it turns right over. She says that it seems to be getting worse, that is, occurring more frequently. The starter stalled and wouldn't turn over for a couple twists of the key and then finally turned over. So I think I will be swapping the starter out on thurs.
