sump the gas tank worth it?

so I'm doing my layout to plumb in my fuel injection stuff on the skylark and jegs sells this nifty little weld in fuel tank sump with AN fittings on it other than making the plumbing easier and slightly increasing the fuel volume is it going to provide any benifit I can cut and weld fitiings right to the tank but the sump looks like an easier way to go.

I'd go ahead and get the sump thing at jegs if it were my car. You've already said what advantages you'll get with it, and that's about all you'll get. I don't see why not to do it.
