CJINOHIO03
How can I figure out where it is coming from or what is bad? It is a 91 Escort 5 speed beater. The clutch seemed liked it was bad but after I added brake fluid the clutch is fine. I assuming it is the slave cyclinder but there is not a seperate cylinder I know of. Is it part of the master cylinder or is mounted lower etc? How can I figure out what to replace without throwing money at it. Thanks CJ

Dave1647545494
if the clutch felt low and you added fluid and now it works its one of the clutch cylinders if its leaking inside the car its probably the one thats connected to the clutch pedal. jack the car up and have someoen push on the clutch pedal and look for fluid to squirt out it shouldn't be hard to find. hth
Alex1647545498
The one connected to the pedal should be the master. This is what it resembles. http://www.gordon-glasgow.org/Images/44.gif You'll have something that looks like #25 connected to your pedal. Fluid could be leaking in from 13 - 15 area. 7, 8 is where you fill your fluid at from under the hood.
