ChevyMan1972 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 Ok, who's all going? Just for everyone's info. Jim Head will be debu'in a brand new 2005 Dodge Stratus at the Columbus event. They have the new Merf Mckenny slipjoint setup on this car and prelim test, have them runnin constant low 4.70's I will be there all weekend with my dad on the team checking out things as they hopefully get there shit together this year as its been tough keeping up with all the new tec. There is such a fine line of a tuneup on these cars that your riding on the edge every pass on smoking the tires. But with this new chassis ables it to flex as it moves down the track. So please if everyone could please stop by and chear us on as hopefully we go some rounds this year! Look for a white two story trailer, with a Comp Eliminator Dragester (orange and blue), a '68 Camaro (pearl white big hoodscoop) it will be running Super Gas, and another dragester (pearl white) runnin Super Comp. jamesn69camaro Posted May 22, 2005 Report Share Posted May 22, 2005 well i went today sun and got rained out at 3or so my uncles co worker came too and he was beting realy loud on every damn car then he starting beting with some heavy dude on quarters when it strted raining ! and he was SOBER! id hate to see him drunk hed drive me crazy!i fealt kind of ripped it cost 41 $ and it got rained out i like the nite of thunder there MUCH better i think its in auguest i think the best part of my day was driving on the wrong side of the road on rt 40 the cops directed people to do that ... why i enjoyed doing that so much was 3 years ago i was put in the back of a cop car for suposedly racing my buddy who lived down the road there at 2 am ... We were trying some new clutch setups and other front end adjusments to make the car go strait, but no luck, just keep an eye out for us in the future as we learn this new car and btw the new 85% rule SUCKS!
