That's right folks, Jack Pee bought himself a new winter beater, and here it is:

1984 GSL-SE: 207K on chassis, 120K on engine, all options except targa top and power locks. It's pretty intact, but parts of it are more corroded than Team Vette's genitals. Plus, it's got quite a bit of deer damage, as you can see here:

All I'll say is that I got a good deal that I couldn't refuse. The car is from the outer outskirts of Buffalo, NY, where the previous owner has had it for the last eleven years. It's mechanically excellent.

I'll teach you how to stunt:

I do, but nobody else probably does. If the rest of you can make attention-whoring, self-indulgent "I just bought a new car" threads, why can't I?

Please. I've got a whole congregation of freaks who know otherwise.

I'm not disputing that, but until I break a rule, I'm not going anywhere.

I'm not even going to mod it. I'm going to just drive it daily until something really expensive breaks, just like I planned with the corolla.

The POS Corolla is RWD and probably lighter than an FB, and I put ~8000 winter miles on it without incident. It has been sold, because some dumbass was willing to pay me probably double the value of the car.

light rwd works just fine in snow, with decent snow tires

just gotta know how to steer with the skinny pedal, and you're set

not like these front wheel drives, where if you start spinning, you can't steer

fuck that, it makes no sense

besides, drifting in the snow > racing in straight lines on dry pavement
