pg
What is this? All of them I've seen are yellow and they have this black stripe down the side that says boss on it. Is this just graphics or what?

Kurt B.
If I remember correctly the only "official" Boss mustang in recent memory was a one off car that Coletti put together in 96' I think, it was a orange SN95, fuel injected 429-dont quote me on the cubes, I've got pics of it somewhere, anything other than that is just a graphics package. Guest powers
http://www.teamshinoda.com/ Boss is a company just like Roush. You can send you car to them and they can make it a certified BOSS mustang. They sell power packages that rnage from mild to wild. They also sell the visual stuff. They have been around fro a long time but never have been very popular.
Ziggy1647545504
You'd think that they would put forth a little more effort on their site when trying to get you to buy a "tuner" car than some crappy MS Paint rendering.... http://www.teamshinoda.com/red%20vert%20small.jpg
MrMeanGreen
The Shinoda spoilers have built-in cupholders. Shinoda wanted these for holding cups while at the track And yes, I'm being serious smile.gif
Guest Harris92
Interesting, Ryan and I have been discussing this for a while now. I didnt think it was a modifying company, I thought it was some shitty graphics people were putting on their car. Well, you learn something new everyday. Ziggy1647545504
^^^ that's usually all people buy. the funny looking graphics. I don't think the sides look too bad, but on the hood and tops of the fenders looks like butt.

OGRE
the only "REAL" BOSS mustangs were made in 1969 and 1970 and they were the Boss 302 and Boss 429. The 302's were built specifically for the trans am series, around 9000 of them were produced. There were only around 1300 boss 429's made it was strictly a homologation (sp?) car to get enough 429's on the road so that ford couls use them for nascar. here is info on the 1994 boss shinoda, http://www.streetclassics.com/mustangs/boss1.htm
Mowgli1647545497
+1 on what Shrek said re: Real Boss Mustangs - btw the Bosses dominated the series until Ford left the series. Even so, private teams were winning with original Bosses thru the 1980s in various venues.
Guest vee21
Ford also made a Boss 351 in 1971 after they dropped the 302 and 429 versions. 71 was the last year that Ford produced a Boss Mustang.

CJINOHIO03
Wasnt sure if they were still offering it. He died a last year I believe. He was one of the best car designers around. He designed the origanl mustang
Mowgli1647545497
Just to be clear here, CJ means the original Boss versions of them, he didn't design the 64. Although he did do the Z28 Camaro and 63 Stingray.
