Dave1647545494 Posted December 18, 2004 Report Share Posted December 18, 2004 they are based on weight. the more the truck weighs the more you pay becuase a haevier load puts more stress on the road. I think we carry 10,000lbs on one truck and 15 or 20,000 pounds on the other the tags cost over 100 bucks a year. there are no pros the tags are expensive but you have to have them to operate a commercial truck. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If ODOT wanted to be pricks they could pull you over for using a non-commercial truck for a commercial application. And then give you a fine and make you get commercial plates.
