McGraw Posted February 3, 2005 Report Share Posted February 3, 2005 always best to have al ocal person do it as opposed to sending it off, a local person can optimize and 'tune' for your engine where if you send it off all they have to go on is what ya tell them, so like 'cold air intake' will give me them generalized numbers between maybe even a hundred or two hundred cfm. That comes from a friend who dealt with JET, and thats what the guy at JET told him if he wanted truely optimized perfromance he'd have to take it a local shop or he would have to know all the very specifics of the engine and support systems.
