ohio_wookie
I have an LT4 in my corvette and its a 5.7, I was wondering where I could get it bored out to a 7.0.
Guest stevil
You can't bore an LT1/LT4 block out that much, I think around .060" over is the limit. Usually a rebuild will only need it bored .030" over, and that would only make a 350 LT1 a 355. You can stroke it though, 396 is about as far as you can easily go with the LTx blocks I think. That ends up being a 6.5L. A 7.0L like you want would be a 427. I wouldn't really bother with that stuff unless the engine needs rebuilt. You can make good power alot easier. I hate it when people talk about a stroker motor as a 'bored' motor. I know a stroker motor can be and usually is bored, I just hate hearing, "Yep, I bored my 350 to a 383." graemlins/doh.gif Here's a 7.0 small block for ya: http://www.dragstuff.com/parts/1032.html
