IPS Mike
i am looking at doing a head gasket on a ford taurus. it is the v-6 version, no dual overhead cam, so timing shouldn't be an issue. if anyone has done this before, or just has some good tips i would appreciate it. thanks

Second call ford and find out if its covered under the massive ford head gasket recall and let them do it if it is. Back in ahh 97 or 98 when the gaskets on my 94 3.8L sable went ford was going to give me a new engnie because the gaskets were so far gone (i couldnt convince them to do the engine swap after i wrecked the car 3 days before the switcheroo bastards), for others they simply did the gasket job for free.
