tandm
The speedometer on my Shadow is really finicky. The damn things works sometimes, and decides to just sit on 0 other times. I don't know anything about this car other than the fact that it burns tons of oil and smoke leaks from the valve cover, but other than that and the speedo, the car is fine Anybody got any ideas? Science Abuse
No speedo? I dont see a problem Pick up a manual for teh car, try and fint eh speedo gear. Usualy its barely held in the tranny. For instance min is held in by a single bolt and a metal plate, should the plate be bend, I can see how the gear might skip around, only working occasionaly. If it aint that, Your cluster might be fubar'd, and pulling that is a biotch.
Turbo Ben
Try checking the cable that connects to the tranny.
