Guest nixon
what happens if you add a quart more then your suppose to of oil into your engine?
Hwilli1647545487
Not sure about 1 quart, but I had a friend who took his truck to an oil change place... they forgot to drain the old oil. Put 4 more quarts in on top of the original 4 quarts. Put to much strain on the oil pump, killed it, which in turn killed the engine. Mr. Jones
You'll probably be ok. However it does put additional strain on the Rear-Main and oil seals. If they are already old/weak its going to increase the chance of starting a leak. .
SupraGlue
Definitely don't do it on a turbo car. It can cause oil to back up through the oil return pipe and out the seals.
slow4now
There is a little extra capacity in the Honda oil pans, if you by chance did this on your GSR. I don't recommend doing it at all though. If you put way to much oil in, you'll burn oil out of the exhaust.

Guest badmuthrfkr
Just take off the drain plug for about 4 seconds and screw it right back on. Should equal about a quart back in my Honda days. Fill if necessary. smile.gif
