slow4now
Your topic title asks about a v-afc or e-manage, but yet the body of your post mentions nothing about them. What is done to the car that you would need any of it?
SHIEF
You don't need anything like that unless you have a decent amount of stuff done to your motor.
RUTAN TA1647545492
I am installing a tdo5 mitsubishi turbo on my f23 because the price is right. The wife needed her car a little faster. I think i can do it for half of what a H22 cost. I already have a manifold, turbo, hook up at a exhaust shop.I normally deal with nos not turbos, so i'm having trouble trying to figure out the size injectors and engine management. Can i use dsm injectors? SHIEF
May I ask why you'd want that turbo on that motor? That turbo will be done by 5,000rpm maybe sooner. I've got a great T3 turbo for that, I was going to put on my H22, and it's never been used, for cheap. But if you must, then just go with the dsm's and a vafc or safc. I believe you'll need a different resistor box for those injectors, but don't quote me on that.
BiG BeN
you could search over at www.ohiohondas.com there are a few guys there with junkyard turbo setups. also unless you're getting cams or something there's really no need to play with the vtec engagement point you could use an SAFCII for more control over the fuel adjustments.
