Guest nevarmore Posted August 7, 2002 Report Share Posted August 7, 2002 Ok my beater buick is a bit sluggish up top and i think a new maf would help. The present one is hourglass shaped from 3" down to about 2" then back out to 3", it wont suck enough air to go from 65 to 70 without WOT+downshift. Im fairly sure a Grand National MAF will work, but i think (hope) any mid 80's early 90's GM with the same connector will do. Am i wasting my time? Know where i can get one cheap or borrow one to see if it works? AutoZone wants $80 for the damn things new, and eBay turned up zilch. thanks for readin. mad props to whoever had the GN a few weeks ago at the marcus(kenny i think) that let me take a peek at the connections.
