MrMeanGreen
I said GenIII heads. Most people out there looking for SBC heads know the difference between GenI, GenII, and GenIII. In case he's not dropping an LS1, LS6, LQ4, or LQ9 into his car, these won't fit a traditional SBC. I'da figured someone building an engine would know the difference. If not, these will only fit a GenIII SBC.
Guest FBody Addict
sorry, im kinda new to engine building and wasnt aware of the differences, any pages or literature you know of that could explain the differences between the generations and what generation would a 96 sbc be? Guest FBody Addict
also, i still need aluminum heads to fit a 96 non vortech 350, since those genIII's wont work
MrMeanGreen
If it's an LT1, you'll need the LT1 heads since they're reverse cooled. But the F-Body/Y-Body heads are aluminum, while the B-Body heads are cast iron.
Guest FBody Addict
its a pickup truck engine, so its not an LT, LS or any other high performance engine, does anyone know stock horses on a 96 chevy TBI 1500 Pickup truck?
