I'm a bit low on cash, so I was searching on Ebay for a cheap copy and it seems the cheapest I can find are for the cdkey only. If I buy the cdkey, then what do I do download the games through Steam? morabu Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 DO NOT buy a key off ebay!, or anybody untrusted for that matter if it has been registered, or stolen your screwed but lets just say the key was legit, yes you can download the game from steam and then use the key to unlock the game and just to let you and anybody else who doesn't know, once you have the game downloaded from steam, or any steam game you can right click on the game name and burn a copy of the game to disk, simple as that, and it inserts it's own autorun/install to work just like an actual store bought game!
