You have to pick a 2 digit number (10 to 99), add those 2 digits, and subtract your answer from the original 2 digit number. The ONLY possible answers to any 2-digit number you plug into the equation are: 09 18 27 36 45 54 63 72 81 (multiples of 9). Those numbers will always have the same symbol.
