Guest Rane Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Emerson just bought one it says it can read CD-R CD-RW I thought at fist because it would skip back to the reading phase after 20 seconds it was just that the cd needed to have mp3 format audio files. Switched it, still fucking starts back over at the reading stage even if I dont move it and just let it sit there. I work at a warehouse people are allowed and do use cd-players while working. Does your CD player have a function that will read say 15 seconds ahead so it won't skip? I think Sony's are called ESP? not sure. If not always find something that does if you are going to be moving around a lot. Problem 2 your CD player will not play MP3's? Was it advertised to play Mp3's or CD-R CD-RW's? Two very diffrent things. Just get an Ipod(AWESOME just AWESOME) or another mp3 playing device. Mp3 players have come a long way. Nice thing is that you don't have a bulky CD player strapped to you.
