mrblunt Posted November 26, 2004 Report Share Posted November 26, 2004 What size tv do you have? Using a transcoder instead of an encoder will yield some granny picture on larger tv's or HDTV's. It all depends on what compression ratio you set it to. The ease of the program is awsome and for the average joe its priceless. If you want to do some higher quality backups check out Dvd Rebuilder, it re-encodes the files at a significantly higher quality but at the offset of being much more complicated to operate and it needs a few plugins to fully function.
