Jackson1647545504
Anyone locally known for rebuilding T56s? My core has some shavings in the fluid. The TH400 in the firebird is getting kind of old. Thinking of swapping out.
Ziggy1647545504
Get ahold of Ben (1TRUESS) He's got another t56 around (read: in my garage tongue.gif ) with I think 48k miles. He won't be using that one. The one going into the truck is a new reman. **** Edit **** I don't think the one that Ben has will work, yours is an LT1 car? There is a difference between an LT1 and LS1 T56. Not sure what the difference is, but there is one. He took his into Berberich's (sp?) to have it checked over, was very pleased with the service, and gave me his recommendation. I don't have the # handy, but I know someone on here does. 1TrueSS
I have an extra one, but it is for a LS1 car. I think the input shafts are different. (614)864-8215 - The shop I used, ask for John.

He also builds the trannies that go in his 7 and 9 second race cars smile.gif
