Stallion Motorsports1647545491 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Share Posted April 27, 2005 Time to sell the winter beater. 1991 Ford Probe GL. It is the base model, 2.2 liter, 5sp., non-power anything. Gets great gas mileage, but does have some issues. Negatives: Back glass hatch seal leaks. Leaks power steering fluid, add once per week, just needs 8 inch line from tank to bracket. Leaks oil, nothing major. Has a hole the size of my mouth in the washer fluid tank. The exhaust is louder than when it came from the factory, but not extreme. It developed a severe vibration in the steering wheel last week. It starts and runs, but I don't recommend driving under it's current condition. I have not had time, to check it out. Ball joints probabaly need replaced? Could be wheel bearings? Positives: New tires all the way around last year, new brakes up front 6 months ago, rotors and pads. I have new plugs, and stuff for a oil change to throw in as well. Overall this car would be a great fixer upper if someone had some time to put into it, which I don't. $650 OBO Thanks, Tom [ 09.
